Life is a journey full of dealings
Some cheerful and some not-so-appealing
First ten years need devotion of a mother
“An unforgettable deed” is what I declare
Next ten years runs with dad’s money
Adding spice in life is friends’ company
Now you are in twenties
You need to find a way in life
It could be a dream
It could be a profession
Or a fortunate turn of dice
And the journey continues...
Note: Since I am still in my twenties (ok ok late twenties) I won’t comment on the decades I haven’t experienced :-)

yea...technically in 20s!
Thanks Trisha...Definitely I will write more about decades of my life as and when I complete them...
Yeah, right (get the expression)...Vineet
We weave reality out of dreams. That is our true profession. The turn of dice can be either a helpful push or a oddity that marks your struggle with existence.
But remember. The goal, is never at the end of the path. It lies all along the path...
It is your growth that molds you into shape & each one of those years is elemental to your growing!
Wish you good luck! God Bless! :)
As always, very well said, Mona :-)
My amateur shot at rhyming :-)
It could be a profession
Or a fortunate turn of dice
And the journey continues...
On your journey stay away from vice,
and embrace the changes more,
since the stability is nice,
but that's not what life is for!!
Now thats ur explorer spirit guiding u vikaz...but i wud like to say:
What is vice and what is nice
If at all we could know
Life would embrace us
As the sea to the river flow
Vikas's amateur shot is a good one. Nice first try! :)
Thank you Mona :-)
and Ashraf, should it be:
As the sea to the river flow
or
As the river to the sea flow
?
I was confused since, normally, it is the river that flows to sea ;-)
Life<=>Sea
River<=>Us
So it is what I said:
As the sea to the river flow
But u have to read the previous line to get the complete meaning
reminded me of one of the hits of doordarshan..
nadiya ...behke saagar me milee..
FROM
mile sur mera tumhaara..
River flows to the sea..then may be the right one..:)
