Nano writing


A picture of what I do in my free time. Those who are wondering , "whats the big deal ?", do see the scale bar.

By the way, this is not my best result.

Thats not PhD, it is PhC which means Photonic Crystal

Good excuse... so PhD is PhC and NTU is NTL(= Nanyang Technical Laboratory)? :-)

Electron beam lithography is a tool to write nano (10e-9) size structures for varios applications in nanotechnology.

The setup basically uses a beam of electrons to write things on some electron sensitive material.

However, what is just wrote is an over-simplified description...
