I was suggested by some friends, who are so called professional photographers, that to learn photography you need to rise above a point and shoot camera. I bought an SLR camera (Nikon D40...a beginners camera) one year back. But, it is now that I am getting hold of it...i mean physical hold..I somehow manage to keep it away and hence i am still an amateur. Anyway enjoy this picture of rainbow.

Indeed, it was luck by chance ;-)
I took more than 1 pic of the same scene with different camera settings...this one, according to me, was different in the sense that the rainbow was blending with the surroundings...i thought it was beautiful..but then its just me
that's a nice rainbow, as rainbows usually are :)
